Restaurants

There are a few restaurants in New Plymouth that we recommend:

• Snug Lounge - A Japanese Inspired Cocktail Lounge. The restaurant is located at 124 Devon Street West, New Plymouth.
• Marbles Buffet - A buffet restaurant that serves a variety of dishes, including seafood, salads, and desserts. The restaurant is located at 390 Devon Street East, Strandon, New Plymouth. Not the cheapest option, but a good place to go if you’re looking for a wide variety of food.
• Deluxe Diner - A retro-style diner that serves burgers, fries, and milkshakes. The diner is located at 36 Leach Street, New Plymouth. If you want to visit here, be sure to book as soon as you can, as they book out quickly, often weeks in advance.
• St Pierres Sushi + Bento Bowl New Plymouth - A sushi restaurant that serves a variety of sushi rolls, bento boxes, and other Japanese dishes. The restaurant is located at 43 Gover Street, New Plymouth. A good option if you’re looking for a quick and healthy meal.

There are three supermarkets nearby, all three of which are between the two one-one streets in New Plymouth:
